Two Body Related Questions

First off, I am looking for a driver's door for my 1999 SR5 runner in 8N1 blue. I think they're pretty rare and even more so anywhere away from the western United States.

And secondly, what does it take to put the large fender flares from a limited or an SR5 sport package on my skinny flared SR5? I think I understand that the bumpers have an extra hole in them for attaching the flares which my bumper does not currently have, but beyond that I don't know what is required.

If I go with the fender flares, either they'll William kind or the aftermarket, I probably ought to get a hood scoop hood too. That I'm sure I won't find in my color though. In that case I have a lot of stuff to paint, Hood, fender flares, door, etc. My hood and my roof paint are fried from the Wyoming sun so maybe an entire paint job is in order. Anybody on here ever had paint job from one of these discount shops like Maako or Earl Scheib (does that still exist)?

Are talking just the limited flares are the doors , rockers and bumpers too.

As that is what I did on Tetanus 1. I changed all of it. Your front fender flares will just bolt on the door cladding will not. My parts rig was a limited so I swapped the the door. The rocker cladding will have silicone or glued on. The rear fender flares now those are interesting. As I bolted them on and drilled 2 holes for each side. Because I wasn't going to cut those several of those little squares to use the factory mounting.

I will say the large flares keep your vehicles a lot cleaner. I send you 2 side shots of mine as I dont have the rocker covers on yet nor the running boards back on so you can see how mine turned out.

I'd like to try to keep my chrome bumpers and just go for the bigger flares. Not interested in the claddings.

You could do that but your going to have to come up with a way to attach the rear flares [ as I just bolted mine on]. You probably can drill holes in the bumpers. I just replaced my Bumpers with limited ones to have the flares hook to them. As my bumpers were junk.

Here are the photos. The issue you have is half the limited flare is on the rear door. This is a Sr5 basic fender trim converted to limited flares. I guess you could saw the cladding off the rear doors.

Or I believe after market make similar flares and you could go that route.

From a thread a few down. Looks a lot like the limited flares.

also the xenon's (IMO the xenons look 10x better than the BW's)

Im looking for these fender flares
