ATOTO A6 PRO headunit

I've had this headunit in my yota for about 6 months. I highly recommend it. It has optional accessories. It's got the TPMS, OBD adaptor, dash cam, and backup cam. It also has wifi and GPS. Stand alone android OS. I have google maps offline maps saved on it, so it doesn't need internet to start navigating.

I believe I can add one more camera, so not 4.

You want that 360 view? you can get one of those kits that stitch together 4 wide angle cameras and combined into one output.

I'm not recommending this exact kit, but here's an example in case you didn't know about this system

Is that the 'Torque' app you're using with a bluetooth ODBII plug? I too just installed an Android head unit with GPS today. A cheap one because I'm not that much of an audiophile but it seems to have most the same things. What it doesn't have is AM radio. Only FM. That was disappointing.

It also has a thin form factor so I had to get a little creative installing it today. I'll do the backup camera at a later time but the wiring is all there tucked under the passenger seat for now.

I didn't take it out of the garage for the GPS to set the date and time yet so pay no attention to that. They apparently set these things to UK time. It has the ability to set the Toyota logo which I did so hopefully it defaults to that wallpaper.

The extra wiring harness made it a breeze. I simply soldered them all on my bench in the house the night before so it was just a matter of plugging them into the 4runner's existing wiring harness that used to be plugged into the amp which was no longer needed.

yeah bluetooth obd to the headunit with torque. Since yours is android if you have bluetooth it will work. Only prob is mine has 2 separate bluetooth modules so I can stay connected to one with the obd and connect to the other with my phone. Not sure what version of bluetooth yours has and if it supports synonymous connections or if you have two dedicated bluetooth modules. Worst case, youd have to disconnect from the obd when you want to use your phone.

I'm using an Ultragauge so I'm already hardwired into the ODBII port.

I was going to buy the same head unit you did for my Mustang but changed my mind because I just don't put that many miles on it. My 01 4runner, which is what I installed this double din into today, is my daily driver and road trip rig so it got this setup which is fine for my needs. I'll probably regret not getting the one you did though. Time will tell. I still find it strange they didn't include AM radio though.

The speaker level outputs on these Chinese Android units SUCK big time. Maybe the line level audio outputs (for use with an amp) are better. I immediately returned mine because of this, I just couldn't how terrible the audio sounded.

The UI was ok...definitely alot of features. But it did feel like just a bunch of apps slapped together ontop of the Android OS.

Is your cooler mounted in series? I have the large Hayden cooler mounted in series on mine and I've never seen it go above 200F even when pulling a trailer.
And I just though 8 mpg was normal for a 4Runner

Na, I bypassed the stock cooler. insurance incase the inrad cooler ever failed. If my temps ever get near there again, ill prob either add the stock back in or add another b&m.

lol If this thing got 8mpg I would sell it. my turbo vette gets more than 8mpg

My stock 98 Vette got 31 mpg on the highway. That 350ci 350hp engine was barely working to slide that low bad boy through the air.

A turbo Vette would be a serious business beast! Bet it's a lot of fun!

I have a 99. I was loving the low 30s per gallon. But I dropped a built 370ci lq9 into it and rear mounted a 78mm turbo. Still haven't been able to turn the boost past 12psi. I have to change my fuel pump, then I'm going to crank it up to around 20.
