How to measure for leveling height?

Added a heavy duty front bumper and want to level out my rig. How do I know how much height I need to level and which leveling kit to get?

Measure from center of hub to bottom of fender flare to know how much lift you need. How to lift depends on several issues. How good a ride do you want? Do you off-rad? How much do you have to spend? But, options are, from worst to best, spring spacers, top-hat spacers, adjustable shocks, and full coil-overs. You'll have to do some more research to determine which option is for you.

3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Information and FAQ's

^^^^^^^
This is really helpful as far as Lift/armor/suspension etc. go.
You probably should have had the front end suspension figured out before you had the bumper installed due to the fact you have that extra weight now to deal with after. Also you didn't give specs of the bumper. Manufacturer is it Plated/tube/winch mount/no winch mount/combined weight with or without a winch. Give a little more info and you might get a few more bites.
Also post a pic and show it off! Cheers.

What you need to do first is figure out what else, if anything, you plan on adding to your rig like a winch, rear bumper, roof top tent, sleeping platform in the back, etc etc, and then match a suspension set-up for the extra weight you've added and the lift you want.

If you get your front level, your rear will be sagging every time you load it down for a trip. Many guys like me choose to have a positive rake (rear higher than the front) so you can load down the back cargo area and not be sagging in the rear.

Getting your suspension right is a little trial and error and it's quite common for guys to choose one set-up and then switch something out pretty soon afterward because the set-up didn't work out as planned. With my suspension set-up, I quickly realized the rear springs I got weren't anywhere close to what I needed to support the weight I carry.

Anyway, I hope this helps.
