School me on Fog lights

Fog lights, my girl has them but they are totally pathetic and useless. They do light up, but honestly when you turn them on...you don't really see anything. Can they be aimed or adjusted? I mean it's almost like witch craft how little light shines out yet they look bright when you glance at the lenses.

Also... I would love some Amber HID projectors for dogs, if that exists for our 3rd gen's that is.

What year? If it’s the rectangular Hella the reflector material is probably dead by now.

Hella has them list as H12090041 for the lights, and H13090611 for the lights and wiring kit. The one on Amazon has them listed as 1NL008090-821. I would confirm with the seller that they are the same.

Interesting, that seems pretty easy. My only complaint with led lights though is... They have no range? I'm sure I'm not usually ng the correct terminology, but led lights seem to have very poor throw/range/etc.

I guess if I cannot fix or adjust my current fogs I will look into replacements.

Do they make like Amber HID projectors or something? That would be neato

Sorry I did not see these replies at first.

Hey these look good! Have you guys personally used them? I've read a lot of mixed reviews for hella...so I've been a bit apprehensive...haha.

Are these projectors?

I have no idea about the HID fog lights. Sorry I can't be more helpful there.

Fog lights generally throw light on the ground directly in front/sides of the vehicle to help enhance driving in fog. On my 2019 that's exactly what they do, its not impressive by any means but works.

It's a shame people go through all the trouble to post something like that but don't post a link to the product(s). SMH.

Okay so I can determine that they are throwing out light...upwards. and I mean pretty far up, but I can't see any way to adjust them. I also do not think that they are OEM.

I'll try to get a picture here in the daylight when I get to the office

I have personally used these for many years before replacing the front bumper with a 4xInnovations plate bumper. They work really well IMHO. The only thing I'd be wary of is to keep the breather vent sealed up. Refer to this thread for how to keep them sealed up by adding tubing for the poorly placed breather.

Thanks mate I'll check that out. How is the output? Do you happen to have any photographs of them in use?
