How to remove this piece?

Looks like one Philips screw and the push clip secure it. Both removed... To disengage it, slid it rearward, forward, straight down?

Don't want to break anything else. Thanks!

Forward and down, along the interface with the piece above it. There are two tabs along the top that attach it to the piece above. Let me try to find a picture.

Leon, thanks much!

I believe your first response was "rearward". I got an email alert from the forum and I saw that first before coming here. So, tight on time, I began tugging rearward, to no avail. Damn, Leon must be pretty strong! I reached-in there to feel for those tabs and began to wonder if it might be forward, lol.

It's out.

I think I might have a blown an in-line fuse for my backup camera. I was hoping it would be in that bundle behind that panel. Nope and damn. I'll need to pull the center bezel again to get to the HU...

Thanks again!

You bet Tony! And yes, I initially typed what I recalled being the right instructions, but then decided to check and realized I was wrong. That's the problem with the e-mail notification, you can't edit that after it's sent out .

Glad you got it out!

I hate that piece! Putting it back on always sucks. Takes so many tries to get it lined up and slid back. I always curse Toyota on the design when I have to re-install.

Well, that's not encouraging. I guess I'll find-out tomorrow...
