I like the 3RZ. But please don't lower it like you say you're going to.

Some day I'll get a car to drive every day, and I'll be able to lift it on some 33's, hence the manual hub 4x4 conversion, but for now, it would just be a mall crawler and pointlessly burn more fuel and wear out M/T's on the pavement.

Here's some of the pictures I already have, this is going to end up being nearly a complete restoration by the end of it.

I'll refrain from posting the audio related stuff on here, because it would be very in depth, if anyone is interested, I can post a link to a full build log on a car audio based forum.

Voltage meter I bought to put in the factory clock hole (no stock clock)

Modded tweeter panels covered in grill cloth:

My truck gutted out clean:

Re-did the roof's sound proofing while it was apart (Extremely quiet now):

Old door panels were trashed and had missing clips:

The Inifiniti seats ready to go in:

New (to me) Door panels look great for junkyard parts:

Lighting was a bit goofy outside but i grabbed some pictures of the interior.

Ignore the wiring in the last one, it's all for the stereo and none of it's hot, yet.

If you're going to lower, just make sure you do it right ;)

I'm having trouble finding information on lowering since nobody makes kits, but I may have found a couple swaps that might be feesible. Trust me, if I can't find a way to do it right, it won't be done at all.

Did you put in front and rear seats from an infinity? Was it all bolt on or did you have to modify things?

Inifniti QX4 seats, required heavy modification, cutting and welding on both the seats and truck, and running relays for the power and heaters in the seats.

I'm actaully contemplating doing a small lift and some 285's or 33's right now, because ATM I have something like a 3.42 gear in the rear end, and I'm going to swap in 4.10's to match the front during the 4wd conversion, I'm trying to think if there would be a huge loss in gas mileage due the re-gearing, it might actually end up being cheaper due to the availability of lift kits and the fact that I already have a set of stock FJ wheels off of my mom's 08 FJ.

Oh alright. They look nice and comfortable. I just noticed the big openings in the corners of the back seats. Any plans for that or just doesn't bother you that much?

And interested in you lowering it and hoping you're able to do it. I always like seeing new things around here and not the same stuff all the time. Was an idea I was throwing around for awhile.

They are very comfortable, the plushest seats I've ever sat on, pretty comparable to my dad's Excursion Limited. Those gaps aren't really that noticible from the front, and my amp rack/sub box should hide most of it, only real fitment problem is the door pockets sit on the edges of the back seat, but only just.
