What is this blind spot you're talking about. Even when compared to a 4th gen 4Runner I'd say the visibility in these is great. I think junior needs to adjust his mirrors properly and learn to look. You can't put a band-aid on bad habit. But yeah, might be easier said than done. My brother is the same, gets a stiff neck while driving and recently learned his lesson as a result.
