Would the heat from the engine not be too much for the unit? Since it already gets hot.

Great price: maybe get one so I don't have to switch my VIAIR back and forth.
Yes, these things get hot, moving parts, electricity, and compressed air does that.

I found such a beast a few years ago. sold out of Australia. it was only around $100 USD. but, total to get it imported to the states was going to be closer to $600. so I scrapped the idea.
it was essentially this same compressor, except it had another pump head on the other end. it was rated at basically double of this one, 11cfm or so. crazy!

I doubt the engine heat would be too much for these. Unless you have lines running next to the exhaust manifold.

Sounds like they utilized a single motor with two pistons to increase the volume?
I still like the idea of two separate units, it provides fault tolerance should one ever fail.
Sometimes one is none.

correct. one motor, 2 pump heads.
and yes, I agree about redundancy.

if you live in Australia...
they don't export them.
I know some people that live there. I was going to have them buy it, and ship it to me. it was going to be about $600.
literally cheaper to fly there, buy it, and fly back...

So FYI the pressure gauge that it comes with is terrible. Best mod to do on this is cut the fitting off the end and replace it with a standard quick connect. Then get a digital pressure gauge of your choice. Rhino has a good one, ARB is the best or my buddy has been running this cheap one for a while with no issues.
I'm actually running the Morrflate system that connects all the tires. which is baddass.. but its almost 200 bucks. Was a gift but I freaking love it.
Inflate/deflate all 4 tires at once with the MORRFlate

Last year my local 4wheel parts had this on sale for $90. Highly recommend throwing away the junk yellow flexible hose. I bought a flexible hose rated for heat with thicker material. I also ditched the oddball connections. Upgraded to standard brass fittings that match the house compressor and two other vehicles.

did you buy the shorter version of the morrflate? its a fantastic idea but very pricey for what it is at $180-200. my father plumbs sprint cars in his spare time, so i may show him a couple of pictures and see what we can do to make myself one.
