Tires??

I have a red 2002 4 runner 2wd sr5 with a 3 inch lift and I have 16 inch black rims. My current tires are 265/70/16 but they are not rugged and tough like the look i'm going for. Can you recommend some good rugged tires that will help bulk up/make my suv look bigger? Under $150 per tire not including installation fees. Thank you!

I'm running Hankook Dynapro MTs in 295/75/16. Got them all installed and shipped for $750.

Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs do look aggressive, are aggressive and will make some sound going down the road above 40, not too loud yet you need to know aggressive tires make sounds above and beyond a typical tire.

Luck and enjoy the Runner.

im on 285/75/16 (33s), tires are wildpeak at3s. heres a link to my build thread if you want to see the pics:
mesooohoppy's build thread (99 limited)

unless you live in the mud or drive a lot in the mid, dont get mud terrains. my buddy killed his in a little over a year because he drove on asphalt 90% of the time (he bought the rig with the tires). he has since replaced them with at3s and is much happier now.

I put on GoodYear UltraTerrains this past summer and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. Wearing really nicely and are really quiet on the highway. I put on new springs and Bilsteins resulting in a very mild lift, sounds pretty close to what you ended up with. I just bumped up one size to 265/75/16 which means they are 1" taller, and it's plenty for me.
