Smittybuilt 5.65 CFM compressor cheap right now
Cheapest I've seen them. Hopefully some people can score.
Normally these are 150-180.

Look at @/overlandunderbudget on Instagram. He has it done and will be posting a guide soon.

Can't say enough good things about the PUMA PD1006.
Puma PD1006 3/4-HP 1.5-Gallon 12-Volt Continuous Duty DC Air Compressor
A little more money but having ran the ARB CKMA12, two separate ARB CKMTA12, and an old MV-50, the PUMA can't be beat for the value. It's as quick (or very very close) airing up 35's as the ARB twin and it's less than a third of the price. Still 100% duty cycle as well. Only downside is it's size but you can split the tank if it makes sense to mount it that way.

That would be sweet! not sure how water proof they are though.

I don't know about that. I personally know several people with these larger ones that have had them years with no problems.

the master flow is closer to the smaller smittybilt pump. a bit less than half the output of this large one.

compressed air is hot. they will all do that. you wont want to touch the metal part of the hose, where it comes out of the compressor after airing up 4 tires. it will burn you.
that said, I have many times filled up my 37's, and 42s, and have yet to need to stop so it can cool down. it puts out so much air, the tires are up to pressure long before the pump could ever overheat.

yep they get hot. really hot. Pretty sure this one has a thermal cutoff. as to protect the unit from overheating and burning itself out.

Ah got it. Thanks for the clarification guys.
Is this unit a good choice to mount under the body or would a different one be better for that?

I kinda want two of them... put them in parallel for very fast tire fill speeds.
