Who runs fox 2.0 fronts?

I'm thinking about running some fox 2.0s. I have a rough country lift kit on the rear which is supposed to be 3" and the fox's i believe state 2.5" lift for the front. I'm not sure if thats with any extra weight. I have a true north plate bumper and a smitty x20 10k synthetic winch and an extra battery.

Is it kosher to stack the top spacer from the rough country kit on top of the fox 2.0 struts?

I'm running the 2.0s with a tjm front bumper no winch. I have them turned up maybe .5 inch but they are plenty capable of being turned up more. Even cranked up they ride like butter. I definitely feel like I could turn them up another .5 inch and they would ride fine. You could always buy longer, stiffer coils for a 2.0 body coilover for your front weight. I have thought about a small spacer on top and looking at the extended lengths, a .5 inch spacer would put them to about the same length as the extended travel 2.5s.

Pics are with 315/75/16s

Ride height and quality on a coilover is almost all dictated by what springs you run. The 2.0's will likely come with 600lb springs which may be too soft for your liking running a plate front bumper with winch and an extra battery. They certainly weren't enough for my similarly equipped Tacoma. You'll want to upgrade to 650's at least, which will cost you more money.

Coilovers are not a simple bolt on lift that most beginners will be looking for, there is trial and error, there is the need for extra parts and there is added maintenance.

Personally I don't feel that the 2.0 fronts are worth the extra money to get dialed in compared to tried and true setups using the Tundra 5100's and various springs, whether it be the Eibach/Toytec, OME, or a factory spring from a heavier truck like a Tundra or 2nd gen Tacoma, there is a spring that will perform just as well on a 5100 as the 2.0 coilovers for your setup.

This is coming from someone who swears by the Fox extended travel 2.5's for utilizing the IFS' full potential.
