Outdoor Temp Gauge. Ideas and Mods
Looking to add an outside temp gauge and wanted to see whats been installed? I don't want a science/engineering project to make something, I just would like to buy something and install it inside. What's out there?

There is also an auto dimming rear view mirror out of some GM and Ford models that have the outside temp display. And sometimes direction.

The Ultragauge can be set up to display intake temperature. Dunno how close this is to outside temp, but I can't imagine it's that far off.

It’s around 5 degrees warmer after engine gets up to temp. But a cold start will tell you current ambient temp.

Toyota made something called a Field Monitor Unit(sadly only in Celsius). Do a search for those. It replaces the sunglasses holder. Others have bought the Subaru version that is a single din size so you can mount it in the radio spot and get a new single din radio
