Custom Ambient Light Brackets

Started working on some ambient/courtesy light ideas for Project SportRunner.

Got the brackets done up this week to look better than OEM.

Speedy, thanks for all the videos on YT. They are awesome and your attention to detail is impeccable. Just watched your LED tail light upgrade video and went ahead and did it. The factory look coupled with the LED upgrade is awesooooome. As soon as I figure out my abs light coming on w/I hit the brakes, I'll call it complete. Thanks!!

Thanks for following a long. Wait till you see this week's video. I let my OCD completely off it's chain on the footwell lights LOL.

Did you get the same Depo brand tail lamp I did? I didn't have any ABS or other lights after install. Mine is a 2002 if that matters.

Yes I did. Same exact ones from Burtman Industries. Really liked the idea of that warranty plus they were pretty inexpensive. Yes mine is a '99 and as soon as I hit the brakes it comes on. Weird. Through some (minimal) research at this point, I believe it has something to do with the power draw of the 3rd brake light LED tripping the sensor perhaps, but not sure.

Looking forward to seeing your OCD.

Yep, I bet that's it. You may have to run a standard bulb there, or add a resistor to the circuit.

I'm a firm believer in overkill... but you sir, have mastered it.

Well done
