and I have made. If your fluid hasn't been renewed that often, I'd bet your reservoir screen is clogged up pretty good. If it were me, I'd go ahead and do the full flush, pull the reservoir, and clean out the screen as good as I could with brake cleaner. Power steering fluid is one of those fluids that people forget to renew like brake fluid and the chances your screen is mostly clogged is pretty high.
If you go for the full flush and reservoir cleaning, it has been reported that you don't need to run the pump to effectively move the fluid through the system. All you have to do is have the front wheels off the ground, turn the wheels back and forth a couple times until the level in the reservoir drops, refill the reservoir and repeat until the fluid is coming out clean into your catch container. If the fluid isn't moving through the system as people have reported to us with the engine off, you can always do what we did in the video with the engine running.
I recommend you buy the o-ring that seals the reservoir to the pump because it would suck to get everything back together and then find you have a leak.
Good luck!
