Procomp shocks came with bar pins?!

EDIT: This is normal with Procomps, you just push the bar out of the bushing. They do this to make the shock fit more trucks. On bilstens it ruins the bushing, 1 piece.

Hey guys. First time doing rear shocks. My truck has a crappy spacer lift. Needed new rear shocks so i Ordered some Procomp ES3000 321513 shocks just like these:
Here is the exact link from 4WP, it says: "lowerount: loop"

[Pro Comp ES3000 Series Shock Absorber - 321513 | 4wheelparts.ca

The weird thing is...they came with bar pins installed....wtf?! None of the pics online show or mention those. Can you hammer them out or should i return the shocks?

These trucks don't use bar pins...

Heres what i mean by bar pins: pic attached (different brand shown but same idea)

any help greatly appreciated, I'm a little out of my element and I was really surprised to open the box and see something different than what all the pictures online show. 4wheelparts told me that these shocks are for my truck...

What on Earth, I've never seen those on shocks before.
can you measure and see if the diameter is still the correct diameter for your truck? Like if you removed those things would the bolt fit?

Hold up, those are bilstiens. I think they sent you the wrong stuff man

Lol, he did say in his post the picture is a different brand than what he ordered, but was showing the picture for reference.

Shocks will be valved somewhat for the target vehicle. You probably want to make sure you have the correct part number shock rather than just trying to remove the bar pins.

Maybe they have part number marking on them?
