That diagram the TPS has 4 terminals. The one I have has 3 terminals. Am I crazy to say that I haven't found a pinout or diagram for the one I have.

So after cleaning the IAC and reinstalling everything it now stall even worse. Doesn't surprise me but here is another video. It now will only run for a min and stall.
This now happens everytime I start it up.

Here is what the drawing shows. Live data is better.

1-3 and 2-3 should equal what 1-2 is. 3 is the wiper and it’s resistance to pin 1 and 2 will change with position.

I have an older 3120 I upgraded with ABS. I love mine. It was worth the 100 dollars I spent on it.

It may need to relearn it’s idle. Let it warm up giving it partial throttle and then slowly back off the throttle. Or give it a some time to relearn. It may take a few drive cycles.

According to my parts reference the TPS 89452-35020 fits all 5vz 4runners from 8/96-8/2000, until when drive by wire was introduced. How many pins does the TPS connect have?

Unplug the tps. And turn the truck on or have the truck on and then unplug the tps
The truck doesn’t need it to run or idle
But if your tps is bad telling the ecu that your flooring it and your at idle it’s going to flood itself and turn off.

If it is your tps that will tell you if it’s bad or not.
Same logic as having a misfire and swapping coil packs see if the problem follows the coil pack. Then you know that one is bad, save you the trouble of having to ohm things out or back probe.

I even went as far as replacing the iac and the maf just cause I had a parts truck.
Not until I look at my live stream data I could see my tps voltage was all over the place. I unplugged it turned the truck on truck was perfect

So I let the truck warm up and it finally learned to idle normally and wouldn't die(for the 5-10min I let it run).
I unplugged the TPS and it stumbled and ran like normal just threw a code.
I plugged it back in and it stumbled and ran the same.
Both items done at idle in driveway.

See what happens putting it in gear with foot on the brake. It may need to relearn that also.
