275/70/r16 and Bilstein 5100 Help

Hello,
I know there's a lot of threads on tire size, and Bilstein shocks, so I apologize in advance. I do a good bit of off-roading, but my 4Runner is also my DD. As of now I'm at stock height, and stock 265/70/r16 tires. I was wondering if 275/70/r16's on Bilstein 5100's with the 3" lift would rub, and if so how much turning clearance do I have before they rub. Also, does anybody have this setup, and if so, how does it feel on the road, and how much do you like the setup overall. Thanks.

You're going to have a much better selection of tires at 265/75/16 (32") and with proper backspacing it will not rub even flexed out or without lift. It works great on factory wheels.

This is exactly the size I've got on mine, on what turns out to be closer to a 3-3.5" lift than a 2" as originally thought...

No rubbing at full flex or full steering lock, though I'll likely swap out the wheels for something with a lower ET (excuse the front end, its in for paint at the weekend!)

edit: I've come from a gen2 with the same 1kz-te, also with a 2" lift. I replaced a fair few suspension components over the front end of that and the gen3 with this setup drives quite nicely on the road. Sure, there's a bit of lean on roundabouts etc, but thats the price you pay for the flex I guess... Overall it feels nice and stable however

I wish Falken Wildpeak M/T came in that size......

Nevermind - they do.
