My first 4runner! 2000 Limited. I spent months looking for a clean one in my area and I finally jumped on this one 20 minutes after the previous owner had listed it.
He treated it well and the package included the following:
- Two factory key fobs + valet key all in excellent working condition
- Virtually zero rust anywhere except near the only dent on the rear bumper
- 190,000 Kilometres. Lowest I have ever seen for a 3rd gen.
- Full set of mud + snow tires on stock 5 point aluminum wheels in excellent condition.
- Aftermarket Pioneer stereo head unit with Bluetooth, USB, etc
- LED interior light upgrade (map, dome, and trunk)
- A fully functioning antenna!
- Aftermarket brushed aluminum pedals
- Full set of color-matched Husky liner floor mats (front, middle & rear)
- Factory rear cargo cover
- Factory E-Locker
- Maintenance dating back to 2006 from the Toyota dealership
- OME Lift 881/906 (about 2”)
- Rhino lined rock sliders from Stubbs welding (HD-SKO)
- Custom retrofit heated driver's seat back and bottom with a button for high and low-wired just in front of the e-brake (works amazingly)
- ARB Sahara front bumper with PIAA lights
- VOLK Racing TE37X - one-piece forged (Monoblock) aluminum wheel wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac 265/75/R/16
- Taillight guards
I absolutely love this thing. I had a pathfinder previously but even before I bought that I was really close to getting a 4runner. I just didn’t have the funds at the time. I’m very happy with my purchase and I hope to keep it for many years.
My plans:
Sooner:
- Rain guards on all 4 doors. Love that fresh BC air!
- NEW RADIATOR. I think the one in there is original...
- Dash cluster + electronic climate control lamp upgrade
- Rear window switch in the back to enable easy opening when camping in the back
- Wire up a low profile sub and hopefully hide it under one of the front seats
- Deck plate mod for mad gainz and wsoosh
- Custom rear window mesh bug screen Velcro or magnets
- Maybe black out the rear badges or remove them
Later:
- Custom build a sleeping platform with slide-out drawers for camping that I have seen so many people do. My uncle has a woodshop and I’m sure he would love to help me
)
- Custom mesh grill (Satoshi style?) with a big old-school Toyota logo!
- Tundra brake upgrade. Front pads have 75% meat left and they already violently shake
- Swap all 4 door handles from a black 4runner.
