Supercharged and Turbocharged 3rd Gen!

The YouTube video linked below is 3 years old. How did I miss this? Whose 4Runner is this? Where is the build thread?

Sorry I’m late to the party!

Here's the Channel - YouTube - Looks like he's from my neck of the woods. I've followed him on Youtube.

Have been following this guy awhile now. He beats on that rig pretty decently!

He's giving me hope for my 240k N/A head gaskets.

He would make more power if he removed the supercharger. No sense in having 3" intake that bottlenecks down to 60mm (2.36" in) at the throttle body and then again through the supercharger intake. Not to mention the extreme amount of heat it makes since it's transferring heat from the exhaust, making heat when compressed by the turbo, then a third time compressed by the supercharger. It's "unique" but a very inefficient build.

Worked on diesels that were turbo’d into a blower. They made lots of power and shoved lots of air into the motor.
He’s running an intercooler to pull off the heat from the turbo.
Seems like a reasonable system for shoving air into an engine.
Can’t say I understand it’s application on a 4runner, but if it makes the guy happy.
