Ok so My 2002 has a decent oil leak from valve cover on driver side and seepage from plug grommet. I actually thought it was rear main until i really got under there and looked. My truck has supercharger with meth injection on it for the last 2 months . It’s been running great aside from trans needing shift kit . Today I was on it pretty good on highway. Hitting 10lbs like it normally does . When I arrived at my buddy’s house there was smoke coming from hood. I checked It out and the grommet that was originally seeping looked like it shot oil out of it. Also back of motor looked real wet from oil. It was definitely leaking more than usual. So if oil was getting into plug well would it foul the plug ? What would cause the oil to leak more than normal. Boost is in the heads only correct ? Car was normal temp according to scan gauge 191. I was detecting a low rpm ping at times but not constant . I’m about to either sell this truck or yank motor and reseal And take shitty OBX headers off . Not sure yet. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
Oil getting past the spark plug tube grommet could deposit oil into the spark plug tube but it wouldn't foul the spark plug. The spark plug is threaded into the head with a washer and I doubt any appreciable amount of oil could seep in. Now, if the leak was really bad and filled the spark plug tube so much that it affected either the coil pack or spark plug wire, maybe that's a possibility.
It's possible excess crankcase pressure caused the grommet to blow out worse because your PCV valve isn't working properly.
Sounds like it time to stop procrastinating and get your valve cover gaskets and associated parts replaced.

A plugged up pcv is most likely.
This may be highly unlikely in your case but, could be also boost leaking pass the piston rings or valve guides causing excess blow by into the engine. Or just be a bad install on the grommit that finally went.
Yes i know. I only realized it was leaking yesterday. I’d been thinking this whole time it was rear main so I was putting it off. It will be a priority now.
My buddy told me to check the pcv but as I recall it was put in October of 2018. It will get replaced anyway.
