I’m not mad at you. I’m mad at my situation. I baby my 4Runner. I can’t help but think those idiots at the dealership didn’t do a proper job. And on top of that I can’t leave my house to take it over there until this stupid virus lets up.

In a part time 4wd system like most 4runners have, the front and rear are pretty much locked together when 4wd is engaged and don’t allow the front and rear tires to rotate at different speeds so when you go around a turn it causes binding or even damage
You can drive on asphalt to keep your system maintained, just disengage it if you’re going to be turning. When I do it I just engage it for maybe just 1/4 mile at a time on straight roads and do that several times a month
