Wiring Diagram badly needed

HI All,

Have a sweet 2000 and we had a problem a few months ago. The remote starter that the dealer installed ( many years ago, however ) shorted some wiring under the dash and burnt them up.

Took time to try to ID all the burnt wires and spliced new wiring in. Fun job.

Since then, we have had a quirky door lock system. 1 thing it does is locks the locks when you press lock, but they bounce back to open when you let go of the button.

Another problem is the rear hatch. No power window, wipers, or washer. The rear lock also locks when you press the drivers door button but pops open as soon as you release it.

I have checked all the pins on the two terminals that connect at the rear hatch hinge. The rear window switch, rear wiper switch and the rear washer switch DO NOT register power at any of the rear pins. There is power on 1 pins that seem to light my license plate lights, and there is one other blue wire that is hot ( key on or off ), and there is a signal on two pins that comes with activating the drives door lock button.

I NEED A WIRING DIAGRAM to fix my problems. I have looked all through the shop manual for the Gen III and I have found lots of info to test key cylinder switches, door courtesy switches, activator wiring and the control buttons, but I CANNOT FIND THE WIRING DIAGRAM in that manual.

If I am not looking in the right place, I apologize, but I need help finding it.

This truck is beautiful, and I badly want these gremlins fixed. Now is the time, with everyone staying home to avoid the virus.

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got the entire wiring diagram for a 99, however I don't know if it would apply to yours because they changed a lot of things between 99 and 2000 but if you think it might help I can try and post the relevant pages

Thanks for the offer Randy.
I think I have one coming, but if not, I’ll let you know.
