2002 -2006 Camry Steering Wheel

Will the airbag from a 1998 4Runner work with a steering wheel from a Camry?
I have read about the steering wheel interchangeability. But I am not sure about the air bags. I can find some good deals on ebay for just the steering wheel, but it is much harder and more expensive to get the airbag. Mine is fine and would like to reuse it if possible.

This might be a pretty hard question to answer. Maybe try looking up both of the model numbers of the air bags and compare sizes and connectors? I don't know much about air bags or camrys but this is where i would start.

I would definitely call a toyota dealership to double check the part numbers.

A '97-'02 Camry steering wheel is much more likely to fit correctly, including the airbag setup. There are a few write-ups on here - do the 'site:' search in google to help you find them.
