I was debating about removing them and possibly doing an inverter panel on one side and a low level cargo light on the other. I have a few other things to do first before I can do the fun stuff--light fluid and rear shock changes. But those will be addressed shortly thereafter.

As ours is almost always set up as a 2 person camper, I took them out. I found a piece of panel at a junk yard and made covers to cover the holes. Nothing permanent, I still have the rolly cover in my parts stash.

Removed the bracket and used the bolt points to mount brackets to support a metal cross member, did the same with the smaller mounts near the lift gate. Basically built a table...although the aussie Shepard sleeps on it when we vehicle sleep it... so it holds weight. Otherwise I use it as a table to cook and make coffee during Tahoe cold mornings...
