Lotus CV Axles are here!
ToyTec Lifts is now carrying the new CV axles by Lotus Development!
Since heavy 4 wheeling and rock crawling puts much more stress on the axles, the stock ones are prone to breaking. One employee here has broken 12 stock axles! (100 useless points if you guess who )
These axles take Toyota OEM axle housings and upgrade the components inside the outer joint with a newly engineered race and cage. In addition to the added material thickness we also upgraded to chromoly steel. The new cage and race components are over 6 times stronger than a stock outer joint. They fit on 96-02 4Runners and 95.5-04 Tacomas with ADD. They will not fit truck with manual locking hubs.

OEM wall depth
Check them out on our website and give us a call if you have any questions!

I'm willing to bet that you wont. I've been running these axles for a year now and they have not broke. Your diff will explode before the axles will break. Ask me how I know...
That's not to say they are unbreakable. But they are definitely WAY STRONGER than the stock axles.

I think would would rather replace an axle then rebuild or replace my diff because now you are just moving the weak spot to the diff. So if you up grade your Axles then you need to upgrade everything that it goes to. My .02$ worth

Correct. I would agree with that. That happened to me. But the stock diff is pretty weak. These axles paired with an ARB, TruTrac, Lockright, etc will be considerably stronger than the stock set up.

But how much is it 6x stronger to hold up to the new axles what about everything else ball joints and Thing like that if you get all that stuff in a bind that would break a stock axles with my break ball joint bust up the diff you have to look at all that stuff. An axle is 65 buck from oreallys and maybe a 45 min job vs $$$$$ for a diff or a tow to fix some really jacked up stuff I would Like to see what kind of R&D they put in to this not much if you ask me I can get a local shop he to beef up the joints in my cv axles they rebuilt the but I don't see any point for what I can buy one for plus they have a Lifetime warr. And only takes me 20 mins after I have it on the rack to replace one. So that is an hour d my time to pull it go get a new one and install it.

It's about time!
x2 on the warranty?
Has the axle bar or inner joint been upgraded as well, or is it just stock stuff?
If it is stock components, can you sell just the HD outer joint and boot?

talk about a run on a sentence there, making it hard to read..
Anyways, if you, keep snapping CVs, maybe you, need to learn how to wheel.
If the price is to much for you to handle, then stop *****ing about them.
As far as the R&D of these, unless you personally know the guys at Toytec, as I do, then you have NO room to talk, these guys test everything they sell, and they test it HARD....
Toytec has a very good reputation unlike yourself, if they are selling something, they back it up, if they sell something I want, Im buying from them.
I dont see you questioning Toyotas R&D, or Goodyears R&D, etc etc, so for you, to come here and questions a very highly reccommended vendor, a company with a great, customer service record, is just plain funny, shows just how much you know.
If you think, you can make something better, go for it, or stop your *****ing.

The whole point if the post is that if you beef up your axle you are just moving the weak point to your diff what is so hard you all to get that in your head....
Like i said did they test this with a 6x stronger Diff.... That is I am talking about R&D.
Axles I have one ever broken one and that was because the boot was ripped open and I drove it like two years then it was popping and I took it wheeling.
So the point of the post was hey I just paid a 1000 bucks for some 6x stronger Axles and now I ****ed up my diff and got to drop 3000 in it damn that was a lot of money spent for some axles.
I don't make anything I just test it and break it that is what I do for a living test things to there breaking point just like the super 35 for jeeps you see how long they lasted in the market....
Rant off
