Saw a bunch of old posts from 2011... I'd like to get a small model of my black 1999 4runner Highlander; I know at some point someone was making diecasts of them but now I can't find anything.

My nephew found me one out of his matchbox cars. I have no idea when they were diecast or who made though. What stinks is I cant remember where I put it to look up who made it. If I come across it I will let you know to give you some information to help you on your quest. :]
We were selling the T688 Diecasts at the top4runners.com website for many years but stopped since they were discontinued by the manufacturer. As for the black version shown below (UR888) this never went into production at all. I still have some T688's that have very minor flaws and have been selling them off to folks who modify/paint them.

Cool.. Did matchbox or anyone else actually make these as well?

If you still have any I'd be interested. Preferably black but I'll take anything you have left
You could try looking for a "Hilux Surf" maybe. But it might have that weird extra mirror on the hood. I saw on the 5th gen forum Hot Wheels made 5th gen at least. My gf looked for one to get me last Christmas but closest she found was a 100 series LC. Now sitting on my desk as a motivational device.

I have a few white and a few green. flat rate priority shipping alone is getting cost prohibitive at $9.45, another reason to stop selling these. send pm if still interested. also found a few of these as well Tomy Tomica Toyota Hilux Surf 4Runner 1/65 Diecast New Japan No.84 Discontinued. I am sure i can beat that eBay price.

Maybe I missed it, but what scale are these, approx?
Thanks

Do you still have any 3rd Gen 4runner die cast models left? I'd like to buy one!
Alternatively, Tamiya has this 1/32 scale snap together kit, about 5.5 inches long. The body is fairly accurate but the running gear is motorized and a little toylike.
