If your looking for a 3rd gen in the Indianapolis area

If you happen to be looking for a 3rd gen and you having the stumble across this one and have any interest in it, feel free to let me know. I just traded it in on a used 5th gen Tuesday. I've got the last three years of service records and everything I've done/had done.

How's the frame and ball joints? Is it lifted?

It doesn't appear to have a sun roof on pics shown?

I purchased it from a guy in Bloomington. He told me he purchased it from the original owner in central Indiana.

Hello from Carmel!

Thanks to all the good write ups here and Timmy's videos, I replaced the LBJs, inner and outer tie rod ends on March 29 2018 @ 154k miles. LBJs and outer tie rod ends where OEM Toyota from Camel back Toyota. Inners were not available for purchase from Toyota without getting the rack, so I got the high end from Napa. That's what several people here suggested.

The frame is in pretty good shape. No rust holes or soft spots. It has surface rust, like any vehicle in the Midwest, but it's solid. Twice I got on the main parts of the frame with a wire wheel and took some rust converter to it, then sprayed it black to keep it as protected as possible.

No lift. When I got it, it had the original suspension with a mega saggy rear. I replaced it all with the 99 talls and new KYB shocks. I'm November of 2019 I got new tires and got slightly larger than stock. They're 265/75/16. They've got less than 4K miles on them. Between the 99 talls and the bigger tires, it gives it a more aggressive look without having to do a lot of other mods. It was my DD with dreams of going on road trips and doing some light off roading with it, but that never happened.

Thanks again for your reply earlier today! One last question...other than the tire vibration around 50 MPH, was there anything else you were thinking, "I've got to fix this in the next 90 days!" before you traded the vehicle in? Like you, I don't mind getting my hands dirty to fix or mod something, I just would love to know if there are any loose ends I'd need to tackle immediately in the event I were to acquire the vehicle.

Nothing major. One thing I needed to fix/replace was the accessory belts. When the temperate got below 15 degrees outside, one of them would chirp a bit until it warmed up. Due to the fact we didn't have many real cold days this last winter, I kept forgetting about it. Again, nothing major that I was aware of.
