One tap turn signals, one bump to crank, what other modern features?

I was starting to do these to my Fiero build years ago after I got my 2013 Chevy Sonic Turbo. Some of our runners are old enough to implement these features.

For the starter, maybe I should clarify on that one... its like when you push the "start" button on push start modern cars. My dads Lexus has it,mMy 2012/2013 Sonics both had it, tap the starter and it continues to crank till the engine is fired up.

What other features would be cool to add? Heated washer fluid would be kinda neat.

Honestly? The lack of many modern features is part of the reason I like my 3rd gen. Having owned plenty of new cars, they really don't add up to a whole lot of game changing improvement in how the car feels to operate, but they do add a lot of complexity.

Single tap turn signals are nice, but the rest I can do without honestly. Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon though.

It's your vehicle and you should do what makes you happy with it. If you do those mods do a writeup or video post and forum members would appreciate the effort regardless and may end up doing the mod.

I'm also a believer in it's your ride, do what you see fit to make it yours.
With that said, adding a push button start is nice. But man, trying to trouble shoot that when you have a no start issue is a pita. The difference between the newer and an add on's, is the newer is all ready wired for it, less to go wrong and makes it that much easier to troubleshoot.
I would rather getting a different ride that already has those features if I wanted it.
Imo, the 3rd gen already has too many cpu's.

Integrated steering wheel audio controls is about the only modern feature I miss...

Then again, I normally drive an '89 Camry as my other daily driver - so, obviously modern features aren't that important to me (reliable with cruise control and AC is all I really need).

You could add one of those setups that turns the car off when you stop at stoplights. Maybe power heated seats with driver position memory.
Back up camera with those turn guide lines and the beeping proximity sensor. Auto turn on wipers when they detect moisture. Maybe a digital temp set climate control. Or really nice would be lane assist where the steering wheel fights you if you try and change lanes without using the turn signal. Tire pressure monitoring would be cool. Could even get fancy and have it monitor the spare as well. Perhaps even one of those outfits that opens the rear hatch when you swing your foot under the bumper. Push button start would be cool but then you need to hide the key away from the rig when you go hunting with a group, or swimming at a water park.

If your rig is a 96-98 then a digital dash with trip A and B would be cool as well as auto headlights.

Really cool would be an actual gauge for fuel and oil pressure, but oils already been done.
