Wheel offsets

Tried searching but no luck and my local tire and wheel stores are no help. Just lifted my 97 with 5100 and 883/881s with SPC UCAs. My 285/75/16 with stock wheels rub and are real close to the UCAs. My question is what offset do I need to run when I upgrade my wheels to 17 with 285/75/17. Thanks

Few things:

1. 285/75/17 and not 285/70/17?

2. Do you care about looks or just want function?

3. Where do they rub presently?

Most people go with 17x8 or 9 offset 0 to negative 20. I consider these sizes and offsets to be extremely conservative and should work for your height.

Personally running 3 coilovers, a 1 body lift, 17x10 offset negative 18 with 285/70/17 KM3s have minimal rub on front bumper fender extensions, (trimmed 1 cm fixed the problem).
