I needed to change my fuel flow and also went with reman'd Toyota ones. They are 3 years old and doing great.

I've also had a pair of injectors rebuilt from Dr. Injector since he's just down the road from where I live. He also did a great job if Witchhunter is too long.

People that hopped up the 4.7 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Noticed that there was a difference in fuel trims between bank 1 and bank 2. So they modified the injector rail and paralleled the two cylinder banks and the fuel trims went back to being the same.

Our 3.4 only has one sensor bank. So you will never know if the passenger side cylinders starve for fuel without putting a sensor in each exhaust manifold.

I still donít get why Toyota didnít have the left and right cylinder banks split.

Just wanted to add my recommendation for Motorwest as well but for their customer service. I did some preventative maintenance and changed out my injectors a ways back with the Motorwest upgrades and kept on throwing a misfire code afterwards. I put the old ones back in and no misfire. Called up Motorwest and it was a super easy, no hassle return. Probably got a random dud but wanted to share that since I would buy from them again if needed.

I went through this in Feb/March, looking for a set of OEM Denso 23250-46050 blue top 312cc air-assist injectors as part of a fuel upgrade for the coming TRD SC install. Spoke with Martin at MotorWest - a forthright and very knowledgeable dude (Props to Tim!).

He said that he very rarely sees these nowadays and had none in stock. He is; however, adapting other OEM injectors, with various flow rates, having designed CNC T6061 aluminum adapter collars to adapt other model Denso, Bosch or Siemens injectors to fit the 5VZFE. At the time, he was offering:

295cc direct fit
315cc direct fit
350cc electrical harness adapter connectors required (double ended for plug and play installation)
400cc electrical harness adapter connectors required (double ended for plug and play installation)

He said the collars can be made with or without air assist passages. Though the pics below show plain aluminum, I believe he's now black anodizing the collars for corrosion resistance. At the time, cost for a set of Denso 315cc from MotorWest was $220, free shipping.

I ultimately went another route, as I found and took a chance on an eBay set from a '97 SC300 w/120k on it for $115 total. The seller was great - retrieved the parts while I was on hold and confirmed the -46050 p/n stamped on the injectors for me. Quality OE parts at a fair price.

Sent them off to Gordon at Witchhunter for refurbishment at a cost of $150. I'm pleased with the end result.

I'd also found these guys in MN that looked like a valid option - they sell direct or on eBay under silvershot_platinum, currently at a discount. Has anybody purchased from them?

OEM Injectors | Fuel Injector Rebuild Service | CS Performance Fuel Injection

Considered FiveO Motorsport too; but they had no stock of the blue Supra/SC300 injectors at the time.

A posting question: I can't get inline image URLs to appear - I've tried Dropbox & Google Photos links - no dice via Chrome or Firefox. Relegated to posting pics as attachments - all piled up at the end. What am I missing? Thanks!

Most people get higher flowing fuel injectors to go with the supercharger to help with the stock fuel trims

When I have an injector fail being I am not and will never SC. I just take one my spare set of injectors (5VZ-FE) and replace all the seals on that injector rail along with just that one injector only replaced. Mine been working just fine for over a year.

I really don't worry about the other injectors unless they fail.. Why would you? I know they can slowly clog in time. This is why you run some fuel injector through your fuel system from time to time.

Being I have only seen 1 fail in an engine that sat 2 or 3 years. With all my others working fine.. Maybe the fuel injector cleaners work? Maybe they don't. Kinda interesting that I haven't had any other quit all these years. I would think if they were horrible, I would have changed many. Just my thoughts on it.

Has anyone have a set of six, half clogged and run heavy duty cleaner for several months with their tankfuls to see if it works? I know if completely clogged no.. But just slightly clogged should clean themselves out. I would think they would but maybe I am wrong.

Yes they work. Larger injectors also need a larger fuel pump so it does create extra work.

If there's anything that can unclog them, this is the stuff. BG 44K is what most shops use for their "injector cleaning service" where they tap into the fuel line and feed it directly through the injectors. Used to only be available for sale in the UK and Europe but now it's finally on Amazon.

I plan on ordering some and running it as I'm approaching 5 years on my current refurb'd injectors.

Oh nice find Jarod. That should clean the injectors in one tank. I cant see just injecting it directly in. Place it in a full tank and they would be clean or not. I can see 2 cans for just 2 tanks. That's either going to clean or not.

I mostly just use locus injector cleaner. I put a few tanks a year and I done this for years on a lot of vehicles. I keep a handful of those single tank bottles and just occasionally dump some in. Now, in 30 years later I never had to change an injector. My only exception, was an engine that didn't have fuel in it or in use for 3 years and I can understand that failure. (My 1997 limited known as shit box) I am not this lucky.. So I am thinking locus will clean the injectors.

Looks like YouTube has videos of it working with proof... I personally not sure. I just know i have excellent success with injectors working. Maybe its bs. I honestly not sure at this time..:-)

I personally think that using any injector cleaner at regular intervals is better than using nothing! It really can't hurt anything as it all gets burnt off anyway.
