Brake Light Wire Color - Please Help

Let me start off by saying a quick thanks to everyone here. I have been viewing the forum for a few weeks with some help and pointers as I was helping my sis-in-law by a 4Runner.

Anyways, her truck came with the class III receiver, but it wasn't wired to connect trailer lights on. I wired it up last night, but want to make sure I did it right because we're going to be pulling some waverunners this weekend.

Going into the brake/running light is the white ground, and then a solid green and green/white wires. I spliced into the green/white for the brake and the solid green for running... Can someone please confirm that this was correct. I did search, and I would just hook up to the trailer, but I won't have the trailer until the night before our trip. TIA.

Thanks. My name is actually referring to my Prelude, but my sister's 4Runner is a 97 SR5 V6 4x4. I assumed all 3gens are the same...

I am going through some major jealousy issues with her 4Runner, I am really thinking about trading my Lude for one, but I drive about 75 miles/day and we all know how crappy gas prices are.

Thanks again.
