ADDCO Front Anti-Sway Bar fell today
Hey guys, looks like my anti-sway bar fell down today, thankfully not off the vehicle. I'm looking to replace the brackets if I can, does anyone know what type of bracket I can buy and if I could be able to maybe purchase one locally at like home depot? Not sure what I'm looking for only that it was a pain to put the brackets it came with years ago so not exactly looking forward to that, any help would be appreciated.

I bought an Addco bar for my Conquest many moons ago. The bar itself was great but the hardware was a joke. I am a machinist so I was able to machine my own but unfortunately dont have any advise.

Yes, correct. It looks to have bent my links too under it's weight but it was dragging on the ground.

Yeah, I was hoping a machinist or metal worker wouldn't respond saying "Oh, you just take your blowtorch or machine press and do such and such" lol was hoping it'd be a quick drive to a store to grab a part.
Thanks for the reply though, I appreciate it!

Unfortunately that'd be for the stock parts which would be too small. I'm reaching out to Addco at the moment to see if they cover it under their warranty.

What failed? The location it bolts on the frame, or the hardware/bracket from Addco?
Mine bent an OEM end link, but the hardware for the bar has otherwise been fine. I now disconnect it if I will be flexing off road...

It was the bracket, one is lost now, the other one was left hanging. My oem end link is also now bent as well. I went and found some brackets at lowes over the weekend but they're not tall enough unfortunately. Will call adco later today.

If Addco isn't helpful, you can get a universal bushing/bracket setup pretty easily. The Addco front bar is 1 1/4" diameter.

I used the Energy Suspension 1 1/4" Greaseable Bushings
But went with this much more substantial hardware:
Dorman 928-361 Sway Bar Bushing Bracket Kit Front
When they start to creak I'll pull them off and tap in a zerk fitting.

Anyone seen an Addco front sway bar for sale or in stock at all lately for the 5th gen, looks to have dropped off...maybe for these reasons?

It bends the links because the bar is too stiff. Its a torsion spring it twists and now the links are too weak. It puts strain on the brackets too. Poly bushings make it worse.
