What has your experience with it been like?
Some have recorded VERY slight changes in mpg, like +/-2mpg. As said all it does it help with shift points, you should notice instead of shifting around 1500-2000rpm you now shift around 2500-3500rpm and stay in gear much longer/doesn't downshift nearly as much, especially on hills. Personally I can feel it make my 4runner much more zippy, definitely "fixes" the sluggish throttle in a way, but I'm running no extra weight and damn near bonestock mind you (actually have to keep it off most the time or I end up riding people's asses accidentally!)
If you're asking if it will hurt your transmission, absolutely not. Some would actually argue it could help prolong it's life since you're not switching gears so much, but I think this is just speculation

I know there's a bunch of probable causes of this code according to Google.
What most likely is the issue?
Most likely caused by exhaust leaks followed by bad air/fuel and/or oxygen sensors followed by catalytic converter failure.

Anyone know if there’s a bulb out there that is interchangeable with/for a BA9? I’m trying to determine if I can use something different for my map lights, which accept the BA9 bulb. I see that the 1156 looks identical but not sure if the base is a different size or not

I have a lot of their bulbs in my dash and stuff, but last year I discovered Sylvania’s Zevo line of LED’s and man are they bright. I was hoping to find an equivalent that I could find in their offering to run in my map lights

Do you REALLY need to get an alignment after doing LBJs? I got one about a month ago, but just replaced both LBJs today, and I notice she still drives totally fine (if not a little better). I know the Lift FAQ recommends it but it seems a little odd so I'm curious if it's maybe to prevent damage or something?
FWIW: Looking straight at the vehicle the wheels appear to be even and straight with no camber (which is good cause I left the alignment with my passenger having a slight amount of positive camber). The joints that were replaced were OEM.

No you don't. The few thousandth of a inch difference in play between old n new LBJ's will not effect alignment. It drove good after alignment after LBJ's no worries.

Our ABS was doing it on our 01, and after installing new rear axle seals, cleaning all the sensors and bleeding the brakes and this fixed the issue for us..not sure if it was a coincidence but worth a shot.

My throttle body seems like it has a bit of play, just wanted to see if this is normal or not.. the movement you see is all movement before the throttle plate moves. Nothing moves except the throttle cable as far as I can tell..

So this is probably going to sound strange but it works for me. So obviously when you drive with ECT on power, the truck drives significantly better. It's much more willing to downshift earlier rather than bogging and then down shifting.

I noticed when I drove with it on for a while I would either get pretty much plus or minus one mile per gallon. however, I did notice that after I turned it off it almost felt like the truck had relearned or something. She didn't act as if the ECT was on power, but she also didn't act as she did before so somewhere in the middle.

I have no idea if there's any kind of logical reason for this, but it definitely made a difference period so at least once a month I'll drive around with it on for a couple of days.
