The ARB Bumper Opinions and Help

So I think I've narrowed it down the ARB bumper for my truck. I do have fog lights which I like, but the ARB for our trucks doesn't doesn't have the cut out like the modern ARB bumpers do for later gens.

Has anyone mounted fog lights to the bottom? I'm planning on putting spot lights on the top.

I can do another bumper if it's similar looking and similar in price and availability.

What do you all think?

I have the same issue, looking at the ARB and want the fog lights. Will prob have to run more lights along the top of the bumper somehow. or cut some in. I also did not like that the ARB with the lights, the lights are extra and you can only use their lights.
I remember seeing a post a while back where someone cut in some square LED driving lights.

Before someone chimes in to turn you guys off of ARBs, let me put in my two cents. My ARB was the very first thing I did to my 2000. Before my lift, heck before I even had some decent AT tires. And it's incredible--- I've bumped into a deer, nailed a guard rail in some ice at about ~15 mph on some ice a few winters back, and nothing more than some scratches in the paint.
Now as far as the fog light issue, I hear you and I'm on the same page. I ran some pods on the hoops using these brackets for a little while (Amazon.com: AAIWA Bar Clamp Mounting Kit Off Road Light Horizontal Light Bar Mounting Bracket Kit 1"/1.5"/1.75"/2" for LED Light Bar Tube Clamp Roof Roll Cage Holder: Automotive) they worked well but I suppose they'd be a little high for real fogs. Another option would be to add some flush mounted lights into the bumper, there's plenty of space for those.

glad to hear about your experiences. for me its not worrying about hitting a deer...its hitting a moose

so with a winch in that bumper still have room for lights in bumper ?
I was gonna put on a light bar below the hoop....up here those lights are called moose lights. The DMV drivers manual even referes to them as moose lights and when and where you can use.

how did your 4runner handle the extra weight or have you boosted the springs and shocks already. I dont plan to put new shocks and springs, upper ball joints and upper control arm bushings on till fall,( everything lower is less than a year old.) with a 2 inch lift. already have the talls on...but they are just a bit not high enough...but would like to get my bumper and winch on for the summer and back road adventures

I didn't like the ARB turn signals, so i used that location for fog lights. A single row 6" LED light bar fits pretty well in that opening without much modification. (you just have to cut off the little tabs that hold the goofy ARB turn signals)

This is the size of lights that I used for the fog lights. The new version even has a fancy white/amber option if you're into that:
6" LED light bar white/amber

For turn signals, I used the filler plates below the headlights. With lights like this:
LED marker lights

What do you all think?
Would mounting them on the bottom expose them and reduce ground clearance?

Would using marker lights in lieu of turn signal as suggested pass DOT inspection?

They are just the cheapo LED spot lights from Amazon: Amazon.com: Nilight Led Light Bar 2PCS 7" 51w 5100LM Black Round Spot Light Pod Off Road Fog Driving Roof Bar Bumper for Jeep,SUV Truck, Hunters, 2 Years Warranty: Automotive

They are really quite bright, and have remained waterproof for a couple years though

I'm thinking I can just mount my fogs under the bumper. Maybe go those low profile ones?
