Passenger side fender area wet

Hi all, I bought a 97 Limited last week with 189k for $1500 everything is good on the truck except the passenger fender area. How likely is it that the ABS pump is leaking brake fluid? The vehicle had new brakes and a new rack put on before I bought it and the brake pedal goes to the floor when braking (may just need a bleed).

The fluid almost looks like it has a red tint to it so I’m wondering if someone maybe spilled PS fluid all over the area by accident?

Ultimately Im just curious if anything in that area has the possibility of leaking that amount of fluid and if I should be worried?

See attached photos. Thank you for your help!

Are you in a rust belt area? If so someone could have just coated the steel with a oil to keep it from rusting.

I would just watch your fluid levels and that will tell you if something leaking.

I do unfortunately. Yeah it’s possible, I’ve been watching all fluids so far so good.

Basically a 0 chance of a brake fluid leak. Another possibility up there is AC oil... but that is unlikely if it looks red.

Power steering fluid is red (ATF), as is the trans fluid. Maybe the transmission dipstick burped? Maybe the high pressure line out of the power steering pump is leaking/spraying?

I'd give it a good clean up with some degreaser and see if it comes back.
