4wd indicator lights on 99-00 limited

My top 2 lights indicating my front tires are in 4wd on the display in between the tach and speedo don't come on ever. In regular push button 4wd it'll only light up my bottom 2 tires in green and when shifting to h4l it'll light up the center diff in orange but no matter what the top 2 green lights on the front tires won't come on. Not a big deal just a minor inconvenience I'd like to fix. Anyone have any solutions? Going to replace my dash lights too so if just the 2 top green lights could go out that would be good news because I bet that's the easiest fix (would appreciate if someone had a picture to show which bulb this would be on the back if it's the problem). Thanks guys.

It's been a while since I had my cluster apart, but I believe that there are actually 3 bulbs for the 4wd indicator. One green for the top two indicator lights, one green for the bottom two indicator lights, and one amber for the center indicator light. You can find a lot more information on which bulbs you need and how to take everything apart to change them out in the two threads linked below.

Thank you so much this would confirm my initial thought of just the 2 top bulbs being burned out. I'm glad I won't have to replace some stupid sensors for nothing.

If you do a search several threads explain that on the tc their are sensors that could or could not be the issue as well.

If the sensors weren't working then all the lights would be flashing indicating there is an error with the 4wd system. The fact that the center diff lock indicator illuminates solid means that the system is working, but the front axle indicator bulb isn't.
