459k just wow
He stopped by to buy my old wheels and tires today for a project. All I can say is wow 459k one owner near mint. Was wondering about the chrome bumpers and lack of fender flares. At first thought must be a limited but no just sr5. Must mean mine is sr5 sport maybe ?

Those little chrome strips are default on all (non-Limited) 16" wheel equipped 4Runners, as are those mud flaps. Nothing special at all - though most were optioned with the running board / hitch / wind deflector package. That one looks to only have the wind deflector without the (OEM) hitch and running boards.

I had an identical 2001 SR5 except for the wheels. Beautiful until the rust killed it at 265k. This one is gorgeous.

Looks like a 99 SR5 with no running boards.
Looks well taken care of.

I think its a 2001 or 2002 because of wheels and tail lights. That is amazingly clean for that mileage! Makes me want to go outside and polish my paint!

That 500k miles from a gasoline engine is why the big 3 and EPA mandates/tariffs will never let Toyota bring a diesel into the states. The two million mile Tundras has to piss them off too. Ever notice how the new Ranger looks a lot like a Hilux? SMH. Beautiful 3rd gen though!! Is he on the forum?

Tail lights look standard to me. Wheels look to be from some newer vintage.
It’s not a good view, but the mirrors look pre 2000 to me. At least pretty sure 2000 was when they screwed up the boxy mirror look and made them more round and bulbous.

Did homie have the key turned one click to show the mileage or was the Check Engine light on? Clean survivor either way.

Almost 500k on a 20 year old vehicle that is clean is very impressive. My 25 year old 96 runner only has 323k and is now our dog car ..lol

Do people not see all the crumpling around the fuel fill door?

The frame rusted so badly that the truck became unsafe to drive.
