Limited drivetrain into a sr5 manual?

Hi. I have a rotted out 99 5 speed that I paid $500 for that i'm going to rebuild, the axle housing has literally rusted through and needs to be replaced, among other things. I'm wondering how hard it would be if i were to buy the complete setup (rear axle, front diff, transfer case?) from a Limited with an elocker and 4.30 gears, and swap them into my 5 speed. The lower gearing would help with the 35's I plan on running, i'm also looking for 4.56 axles but quite a bit tougher to find. I know i'd have to wire the elocker, would the center diff feature work with this setup?

You'd need the 4WD computer from the kickpanel I believe, as well as the rear driveshaft. I believe the front is the same. @Tyler James Inc did the Multimode 5Spd swap I believe, might PM him, or perhaps he'll pop in.

As someone that suffers from intermittent AWD/4WD long engagement problems I wouldn't swap in a VF3 transfer case from a limited. When mine gives me enough problems I will be swapping in a normal j-shift VF2 transfer case and converting all the wiring to get rid of the 4wd computer. Just my $0.02

If you were to convert to the limited transfer case you would need a 4wd computer, electrical wiring diagram, rear driveshaft, and possibly front driveshaft. Some people have swapped and been able to re use the front drive shaft.

I also have a 99 limited that is my daily driver, the center lock is an absolute wonder in Minnesota during winter, it may introduce more things to go wrong but worth it IMO
