Born with an unflippable hitch

Alas, I have a welded-style hitch. I'd like to find a simple off-road-designed aftermarket rear bumper with a 2" receiver for my bike rack. Not wanting to tow things. Any recommendations?

I am really happy with my 4xInnovations rear bumper. Fantastic quality, and it's pretty damn stout.

I don't have one but I really like Addicted Offroads rear bumper design, from what I understand the quality is great and I have contacted them with questions before and they responded promptly, seems like a good company

Addicted Offroad is a full service Parts, Sales, and Fabrication company offering offroad parts for all makes and models, Addicted Offroad

You realize there are low profile hitch receivers on sale now for less than $150?

If you are just looking to gain some ground clearance - the CURT 13087 Class 3 Trailer Hitch - has the receiver running across the square tube rather than underneath it. It's the closest you will get without buying a hitch that can be flipped. Another member had a fab shop just cut his off the side brackets, flip it over, weld and trim the bumper to fit.

Or buy an early style hitch and do the hitch flip. If you were in SoCal, I have one you can buy for cheap.

Thanks, all.

Yes clearance is the goal. I'd like a full custom rear bumper but after I almost hit a deer on Saturday, I will $pend on a front bumper with a bull bar* way before I visit the rear end. So yeah, a junkyard flip-mod or a Curt (although those are pricey around here - had one on my 2nd Gen)

*So, on a whim I went on CL late Thursday night and came across a Sport hood in my color and went all crackwhore on it. Bought it Friday AM from a super cool cat about 50 miles away who helped me pop it on and off I went into deer country for the 4th weekend. I feel cheap & dirty but so satisfied. The wife didn't notice it until road trip day 2! I will never divulge price. Anyway, that needs to be protected from suicidal mammals!
