What do you guys think of the new Ford Bronco??
What do you guys think of the new Ford Bronco? It looks like it has some seriously capable features! Locking diffs, stock 35 inch tires, 7 speed manual, disconnecting sway bars??!! It's lookin pretty good IMO.
What's your opinions??
I may be biased, but it can't beat our 3rd gens though

Over priced, over hyped, destined to disappoint aficionados. Coming to a grocery store or mall parking lot near you. I expect 95 percent of the new bronco's made won't come well equipped like listed above.
Edit- Forgot to mention ugly

F'king Oil Ruins Driveways
Found On Road Dead
The old (70's) Broncos, which were about this size, were extremely cool. I would love to have one that was restored to original, or restore it myself.
This new one is just a gimmick. Kinda cool, but still a gimmick. I would have to be extremely rich in order to piss away that kind of money, knowing full well that it may be a real POS.

No V8. Had two, with a 302 and 351 respectively and a rollover prone Bronco II. All had great engines, trannys needed to be babied, hence the first trannys I ever used Mobil 1 in performing the drain and fill using the bucket method.
I drove a twin turbo I4 Exploder right before Rona came to light. Fast, but there seemed to be low end torque missing. Plus I wasn’t keen on the longevity expectation of using those turbos.
Regardless, until I get behind the wheel of one for more than fifteen minutes, I will reserve judgement, but I hope they are a good seller for Ford nonetheless.

Ya, the specs look dope on paper, but it's the reliability that puts me off lol. I guess time will tell though haha.

Looks great on paper but hopefully it proves to be reliable and rugged.

Honestly I think it could be a great vehicle to lease (short term) and drive it to the local malls and valet park it. Then again I always lease fast German cars for that but just like German cars keeping it for awhile is out the question. Ford is a chinese loving part machine that is going to be a money pit to keep running long term.

Will probably last 80k miles at best. 10 speed auto transmission and smaller engines with turbos don’t last long. Way overpriced also, I would get a brand new 5th gen with the Proven reliable engine and transmission that goes over 300k no problem any day with that money. But I would just save my money and keep my 3rd gen tbh.

I think they're probably junk, just like whenever Ford does a retro version. Think T-bird.

In 1986 my very first car was a 72 Bronco. Three on the tree with a straight six engine. It had over 350,000 miles. I was great. I highly doubt the new Broncos will be anywhere as reliable as the old Ford Broncos.
The unveiling video sorta reminded me of the old Toyota FJ40s. Those were so cool.

Looks cool, definitely reminds me of the 1st gen. Me and my brother mud dragged a '71 with a bored and stroked 351 Windsor in the nineties (his third one, I was a Chevy guy back then) Unfortunately, I'm sure it will be like most of the junk coming out of China and Mexico, um I mean Detroit.

Honestly I love it.
I love that they are sticking to what a bronco should be. An offroad vehicle. Not trying to morph it into a crossover like the blazer. Is it overpriced and gimmicky? Absolutely, but I think we need more of this in the American made car market. A vehicle designed with a purpose.
Not to mention its worlds better than the new Land Rover defender. Would much rather whip the 7 speed manual 2 door over the glorified honda element.
