Anyone Know a good mechanic in Fort Worth?

Anyone know a reliable 5VZ-FE mechanic in Fort Worth? My 2000 SR5 overheated last night on the way home. Looks like the timing belt, idler pulley and water pump are trashed.

She's got 245K on the engine, and I need to figure out if it's worth fixing, and if so, what it's gonna cost me to get her running again. I'm handy, but I'm not enough of a mechanic for this job.

Thanks!

Try the DFW 4runner facebook group. They have recommended shops and mechanics.

If you can get down to Houston, Duggy's Garage in North Houston is awesome. They did all the timing belt, wp, etc. on my truck and had very fast turn around time.

KnD Automotive & Welding - Auto Repair Shop in Haslet

They aren't a 4runner specific shop, but they took care of my 3rd gen as well as my other vehicles for nearly a decade before we moved to Houston. David is a former army mechanic and never tried to sell me anything I didn't need.
