Fumoto valve for A340-F transmission - which one?

I believe I've read it on here but can't seem to search/find the post that lists which Fomoto valve size fits the 4wd (A340-F) transmission bolt.

I'd like to start doing more frequent trans fluid drain/fills and this would help motivate me.

I emailed Fomoto to which they replied just now, "Thank you for contacting us.
Although our valves are designed for engine oil pans, we know our customers have used them on their transmissions and all types of engines.
We don't have spec information for each transmission/application but if you are able to measure the plug manually, we can tell you the corresponding size.
One easy way to measure your plug is to take it to a hardware store and mate it with a nut."

Yeah not really so easy, so hoping some knows. Thanks in advance!

Dont know the fumoto part but the atf drain is 10mm x 1.50. The plug itself is 8mm length.

Thanks!

Now to get a fumoto rep to answer the question. Their site does not supply sizes unless I put in a vehicle. So left a message. They could increase sales quite a bit if they bothered to list tranny and diff bolt sizes......

I'm interested as well. Once you get it sorted, let us know! The PO of my rig had the trans fluid exchanged every 30k, and I want to keep that going. Of course I'm not likely to pay for NTB do it using their machine, and the Fumoto Valve sounds like a great way to do it quickly!

Well no dice. Sent Fumoto the info on what fits a M10-1.5.

They said none of theirs, closest in size is a M10-1.25.

So I'll look around and see if anyone else makes one but probably will be leary....

I don't know about your transmission plugs, but mine has to be Really tight to not leak, I'm almost afraid to torque it so much (I leave it running and turn it just enough to watch it stop oozing out. Change gasket maybe?
