This post is more for others that end up with similar issue. So I managed to successfully repair the rear window. Originally I thought of replacing the 2 plastic pieces attached to the bottom of the tailgate window. After being quoted what I consider to be *uck You prices ($90 a piece) from the stealership I decided to tackle this on my own. I ended up cleaning out all the rust, etc. out of each of the 6 holes in those 2 plastic pieces. One of the holes became bigger in the process. Not surprising none of the holes maintained their original mold that was intended to properly seat the nuts. As such I ended up using JB Weld to build up the bigger hole. Once that was set I again used JB Weld and seated 4 of the original nuts and 2 replacement nuts (that I sourced from local hardware store). I was happy with the final result and proceeded to put everything together. I applied Fluid Film in hopes that I will never have to encounter this job again. Damn you rust!
Once again thanks to Josh from this group for supplying me with all the parts needed.
