3gen Swing-Out rear bumper?

Just looking for options on rear swing out plate bumper for my 1997 SR5. Would like any information you guys may have on determining the best option. Anyone have problems with install or fit? What brand do ya prefer? Definitely want it made in USA!

I have a 4x innovations from Wisconsin. Great bumper good swing out very solid. Been beating it up for 3 years now and it still functions just fine.

CBI out in Idaho also makes great stuff.

There is a bumper thread if you search for it.

The stock bumper bolts to the truck body. Most after market bumpers bolt to the frame. The problem with this is the rear body mounts don’t quite give you enough clearance and you will get contact when your off-roading. It’s a common problem and a slight body lift in the rear will mostly solve that issue.

Thx for the feedback Sleepydad, I’m running a 1” body lift already so I’m hoping that’s enough lift to eliminate any bumper/body contact issues. I did look at the bumper post, just looking for real world options like you gave. I have heard good things about Shockworks also.

No complaints about the Shrockworks one I received.

Sonoran Steel sells replacement body mounts to fix that.

Do I need the rear mounts from Sonoran if I already have a 1” body lift?

No. The replacement pair of mounts from Sonoran Steel is for those without body lift
Besides, body lift pucks are firmer, i think

Doubt that, I've still got mine on the shelf waiting to be installed and they're rock hard, compared to the delrin or whatever pucks are on the body lift I have.
