Factory Key FOB issues

Hey! I recently picked up an 01 limited 4wd. The factory FOB locks the car but does not unlock. I took it to toyota, they tested it and all the buttons are working as far as the RF scanner is concerned. so i'm wondering if the "receiver" in the car has a bad wire? Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks

Mine doesn’t work anymore now. I would want to know if there’s a fix on this as well. Thinking it’s the back door receiver

It is your JUNCTION box (white fusebox under the dash) is causing the doors and rec. to act funny. Fine a used one and transfer all of your fuses and reconnect.

Check to make the button on the door panel unlocks the truck. If not your lock actuators are bad. It’s easy for them to lock the truck because gravity assists the lock mechanism but unlocking is harder because they gotta pop up and fight gravity. If the button in the truck can unlock them then you might have a bigger problem.
