value of a 2000 limited 4wd?
Hello,
I am looking to sell my old 2000 limited 4WD 4runner.
It has 200K miles.
What do you guys think it is worth?
How much should I list it for?
Thanksa for any help.

Hi,
good point. I don't have pics at the moment. 4runner is at my ex wife's house. My son wants to sell to buy a used lexus IS300.
It is black and gold and good condition.

if it's in good working order and not scratched, dented, rusted, ripped up interior?
no engine lights? can pass smog local?
you should expect to get @ least 7K
it also depends on your pain point, how long can you hold onto it? how many carpet crushers do you want to deal with? are you ok dealing with dozens and dozens of annoying humans to find the one who will give you the most?
I was shopping last year pretty much all year for a 3rd gen. local markets yield very different results. your in the highest resale region and should get the best price if it's in good condition.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, everything is in pretty good condition. Leather seats are a little worn and wrinkled, but no tears. Maybe i will list it at 6K and go from there.

if you can take a week or so...each day go out and do a local craigs list search. This will give you a good idea about what people around you are asking....
if possible make note what adds disappear? that guy who was asking 15K, yes he has been posting for 2 years now... so maybe he is overpriced? the guy who posted 6K and got 500 calls the first morning? under priced for sure.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did look at SF Bay Area Craigslist. Looks like $6K is definitely too low. I will probably list at $7500. Thanks for the help!

I recently purchased a '00 Limited (212k) for 5.8k but was able to talk them down a bit because it needed new CVs and radiator. West coast. 6-8k sounds like a good range if theres no rust or major repairs outstanding.

when did you see it last, might be worth the tow bill now
just thought I would throw that in since everyone else is going high ( but typical west coast price) and no one of us has seen it.

I picked up my 2001 4X4 with 225K for $2500 in Nebraska with minimal rust a couple years ago and all it really needed was new tires and an AC recharge. I wonder if that's incredibly low or just the average here out in Nebraska.
