What to take from 1999 Toyota Camry
Hey guys,
My grandpas Camry with over 400k miles finally gave out. He’s taking it to a scrap yard so is there anything useful for my 2001 4Runner I can scavenge before it goes?

Some of the ignition coils may be the same. Many relays, flashers, bulbs, switches, should work too.
Steering wheel maybe?

Dont know about compatibility. Electrical stuff light bulbs wire harness, relays, fuses, fuse box, hvac hoses. battery cable connectors, wires can be useful or improvisable. .
edit; nuts and bolts

Good idea about the switches. Maybe I can use some to wire in some auxilary lights, my compressor, or something else.

nuts, bolts, expensive plastic clips, ECU might be money, if it has a fog switch on the turn stalk, many turn stocks are compatible with other models and manufacturers.

As others have said nuts and bolts. Unless you already have a big bin of metric nuts and bolts its almost a necessity when it comes to fixing older vehicle. Unless you live right next to a parts place which a lot of us do not

Some of the camrys have a nice negative battery terminal to match the 4Runner positive. Nice to have if you ever replace or upgrade the negative cables.

I assume its running good, if thats the case grab all ecm's computer stuff...wont fit the 4 runner but could resell on fleabay.
relays, fuses nuts and bolts. Its always good to have spares of those around.
I would look around on fleabay and see what else sells good. I know one hassle for me for my 4runner was finding good driver side seat belt

Mostly you can always buy new seat belts from Toyota OEM...
Great thoughts on the other things. I figured the OP only wanted compatible parts.
