@raty4R any update on your Dobinson's kit install? Also, are you running any extra weight items? Skids, sliders, bumpers?

Nov 10th, then shop will ship them to me. Shop said about 2-3 weeks till he has an opening for me.

Did you get the Dobinsons installed? I am wondering how you like the ride. A review would be great.

I just installed Dobinson’s C59-134 and C59-137V with Bilstein 5100 on Friday as the first part of my build on my 01 Limited. They are the heavy rate springs and even without adding any weight yet they ride pretty great.

No issues. Install was straightforward. The rear sits slightly higher due to no weight in the back, but once the rear bumper w/ swing-out, and drawer system are installed it will sit pretty level which is what I was hoping for. I will take some photos tomorrow and post them.

After one week of riding on these. I'll give my review...
I replaced my old coils (Performance Products 2" lift coils and Bilstien 4600 shocks) because the ride had deteriorated to the point my truck drove like an empty 1ton P/U. They were over 10years and 100,000 miles old. These felt really good when newer, nice and firm but not harsh.
So I went with Dobinson C59-131 and C59-276 coils (10% firmer than stock) and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
My truck drives the same as with my old set up plus the truck seems to roll more on turns. The ride is very stiff, not firm. I can feel a wet toothpick on the road and every rut or bump. I was hoping they would be a little softer with new shocks and 'light' duty coil springs. Not happy with them.

Thanks for the heads up. These were my first choice primarily for the mild lift and expected nice ride capability. Back to square one...

So... a quick update.
Emailed Exit Off Road with my concerns. Mike said the coils need around 500 miles to break in, I only have about 200 miles on the coils so far. He also said the issues I am describing sound more like a shock absorber problem than a coil spring problem.
I'll give another update at about 700 miles.

will be interested in results too. I will have an ARB bumper and a winch, so hope that system handles the weight.
I was real happy with my last set up, but had not yet installed bumper. Only had about 200 miles on that set up when I trashed the rig I liked the ride better than the 99 talls and kyb's on had on it.

Mine only said it on the box in a black Sharpie. Started install yesterday and the bottom shock eyelet/bushing doesn't seem to line up with the lower a-arm eyelets. I'm wondering if my "driver/passenger" were incorrectly labeled OR if they were pre-assembled off rotation.

First thing this morning I'm going to check fitment if I switch them from their labeling. Is there actually a difference in the front driver vs the passenger side in aftermarket applications?

Update: I just spoke with Dobinson's and there is NO difference between the front driver/passenger components. Only difference is the assembly orientation.

I may have to lossen the top hat and rotate slightly for fitment. Good thing my buddy has a quality spring compressor.

What do you mean by assembly orientation? I was told by Dobinsons there is no difference in sides and my truck might need a right side spacer to compensate for the extra weight on the driver side. My truck did not need one, it sits level. But they didn't say anything about spring orientation.

Interesting, mine were labeled Passenger and Driver written on the box. I had to call this morning and tell them about the top hat/lower shock eyelet being out of alignment to fit into vehicle. Dobinson's assured me that the components are the same on each. But they were off in assembly.

Ended up going to a shop to use there soring compressor and rotate correctly to fit into vehicle. Turned a few hour project into a day and a half.

Was gonna go with the Tundra TRD coils/Bilsteins for a 2 inch lift on my truck but might have to give this a looks as well.
