Cut seized cam bolts lower control arm question?

My lower cam bolt sleeves are seized! I managed to remove all 4 screws but the sleeves are seized!

I plan on cutting them off and replacing with new lower control arms from toyota and all new cam bolts.

Question is...
On installation, can I reverse the new cam bolt direction that the steering rack blocks? I don't have to alter the rack if I cut the bolts because it drops straight down. But, If I install the new bolts in the previous direction, I would need to loosen the rack to get the new bolt in.

It would be much easier to not move the rack. Each bolt is a nightmare in the rust belt.

Thank you

Won't work, Nut side is tall/long interferes with rack.

You can put in the SPC cam bolts. They are made so you don't have to remove the steering rack. I put them in my 97 and they work fine

Glad you had good luck with them. Flats in washers rounded off second aligment, much prefer OE on this part.

I'm getting ready to cut my surely seized cam bolts out as well, so I will follow along with your progress. You could leave a comment on Timmy's YouTube video and someone might reply.

I am really dreading messing with the steering rack. Seen horror stories of bolts shearing off.
