Alright, got the kit ordered (thanks
@ Team_Jake
!), and trying to plan for the fun ahead:
First, I'm trying to accomplish the tank swap and retain the emissions controls for A) no CELs and B) passing local emissions tests (not Cali), so I'm trying to integrate/accommodate whatever's necessary to keep the computer from freaking out.
I have an '02, which has the obnoxious charcoal canister above where the spare normally sits. There's about a billion vacuum lines in and out of that thing, two of which connect to the fuel tank (tank vent valve and cutoff valve), and two of which connect to the filler neck.
The tank vent valve itself has a column that extends down into the stock tank. Everything on the stock tank is mounted (I think) well above the full level, i.e. it's not constantly submerged in fuel. Is there any danger swapping the Toyota tank vent valve assembly onto the F150 tank, where it will likely have most of that column under the fuel level?
The F150 tank has a small hole in the middle for the EMS valve; the Toyota cutoff valve is the equivalent to this, correct? Is there any reason not to just use the Ford EMS valve and connect it to the charcoal canister?

Thank you. I might do this if the stock ford pump gives me issues.

Keep us updated if you do try this pump. I think we'd all like to have the option to switch pumps if the stock one proves to not be able to handle full throttle or a supercharger.

Are you still making these kits?
Hello Jake, I would be very interested in one of your kits. I hope you are still putting them together. It would be a major time saver. Please let me know.

On a side note, I used to live in Elfin Forest/San Marcos. I now live in Wyoming but it is fun to see you are in Vista. Cheers! Eric
